Submit official transcripts from everyÌýcollege or university you attended after graduating from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.

International students applying from a non-English speaking country:ÌýSubmit a TOEFL score of at least 79 (internet based) directly to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø. CSDCAS does NOT accept official TOEFL scores.

A personal interview with the SLP faculty may be required.

Applicants must have their application verified with GPA calculatedÌýby a February 15 deadline. Applicants must be completed,Ìýe-submitted, payment received, references and transcripts received, at least four weeks in advance of the deadline to ensure the application is verified on time. Applicants whomÌýare not verified will not be considered for admission.
Application and Prerequisite requirements:
Entry into MS in SLP Program (students who have completed an undergraduate degree in a SLP major or a leveling program at Rockhurst or at another accredited university)  Ìý
- Complete an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university, or an undergraduate degree in another discipline plus appropriate leveling coursework in speech-language pathology that prepare students for entry into the Master of Science program. Undergraduate preparation must consist of at least 36 semester credit hours and reflect a well-integrated program.Ìý
- Achieve a required minimum overall grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.00 scaleÌýÌý
- Achieve an annual GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4.00 scale for Science, ASHA pre-requisite courses, and SLPÌýcoursesÌý
- Demonstrate the ability to fulfill the Core Functions of the Speech-Language Pathology profession to complete an MS in SLP
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and appropriate interpersonal skills.Ìý
- Complete the prerequisite courses in biological, physical, and behavioral sciences and statistics as required by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, ASHA, for application for certification prior to the first day of the MS program.Ìý
- A standardized test score is not required for admission to the program; however, students need to be aware that standardized tests (state boards) are required to become a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. Ìý
Admission to the graduate SLP program is determined by a faculty admission committee.

- The 2024-2025ÌýCSDCAS application cycle is now open.
- Deadline to submit an application is February 15.
Students mustÌýsubmit all required materials directly to CSDCAS and must follow guidelines found on theÌýÌýwebsite.
